This was a long overdue request from my friend Vince when I showed him the hardcopies of posters I downloaded from this thread. Viewing through the thread is an image intensive one at that. All I can say about that thread that its addicting to pore over especially when you see some interesting picks or quotes used to make them. It's a very simply thing to churn out when you have the time, images and words to put it together. Of course, to speed things up cookie-cutter style, there is always this site to speed the process real easy.

I got into it after trying my hand at making a few to ride the trend. After a while, I slowly tapered off since my inspirations to make such posters are starting to wane for lack of interesting pics to make them along with the words to go with it. Once an image catches my attention or an idea, I'll try to solidify immediately into a poster.

The rest of the posters I made besides those you see here are located here.

20 Weeks later in another place

Its been 20 weeks since I left the Philippines and staying here at my sister's place. Job hunt progress is still at "searching". I mostly pass the time in my sis house with limited access to the internet due to its draconian parental control software which was initially intended for my niece when she was supposed to visit and whatever cable tv has to offer.
I scoped out a few malls/shopping centers over here and some other places of my interest to reacquaint with in terms of bookstores and comic shops mostly. After having funds reach critical levels, my roaming days stopped and I feel pretty much cooped up in this house I'm staying at. Creativity hasn't reared out of the doghouse of late since I am stifled with being cooped up here and little in the manner of inspiration to make me write something.
I'll just have to keep looking for a job. Once the cash flow starts my roaming would resume, acquisition of stuff like books and so forth will follow and hopefully things get more comfortable and conducive for me to be creative will follow. That's it from me for this transmission. Peace, out.
